Hair must be 1/4 of an inch (long grain of rice) or longer at the time of your appointment. For new clients, that would be about 14 or more days from your last shave OR 4+ weeks since your last sugar/wax. If you are unsure if your hair is long enough, please call for a phone consultation before booking.

If skin is compromised (i.e. heavily sunburned, inflamed, or has active rashes/ sores/ lesions) service cannot be performed.

Discontinue use of chemical and physical exfoliants 48 hours prior to service

Keep treatment area product free on day of service (no lotions / deodorants / makeup/ moisturizers / etc.)
FAQ's
Can I get sugared while on my period?
Yes! Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup, and be aware that your skin will be more sensitive during (and a week prior to) menstruation.
Can I get sugared while pregnant?
Yes! Your skin may be more sensitive during this time, but the sugar paste is safe for use while pregnant.
Do you only sugar women?
No! All genders are welcome.
Can my hair be too long to sugar?
No! (Well - yes, but!).. leave the trimming to me. If your hair is so long that it will interfere with your service, I will trim it. Do not trim before your service as that usually leads to clients cutting hairs too short.
How can I maintain my skin in between services?
Keep the skin clean and dry. Shower immediately after excessive sweating. Exfoliating daily will help new hairs exit the skin instead of being trapped underneath and causing ingrown hairs.
Is there downtime after sugaring
Some, but minimal. You may have some tenderness and sensitivity to the treated area post service, but that usually dissipates within a few hours. If you are prone to redness/soreness, icing the area may reduce those symptoms.
